A NorthWest Fall
Somewhere behind all those dark clouds is a glorious mountain. If you were to have visited here in the last two weeks, this would be the view of Mt. Rainier. The idea that there is beauty and wonder behind all the gloom, I know that it is true, because I have seen it. I know there will be brighter, sunnier and nicer days to come, even if sometimes it seems like forever. I know that glorious mountain is there. I know it is beautiful and I know it is covered in snow. Often, unless you can find something within you to remind you of those days and the sheer existence of something that is currently hidden from view, it could get pretty overwhelming and even depressing. When weeks on end you see nothing. When it seems all is lost. When even a glimpse of something under those dark clouds would bring some hope. That's when you have to reach down just a little bit further to the place that you know to be true, what you know is real and what really exists. Don't let the gray skies fool you. Don't let them steal what you know to be real. Remember the silver lining. Remember the reality. Remember the hope. Remember brighter days. Remember truth.
